Educational institutions have an obligation to serve the entire population, in all its diversity. Their unique and important role is to empower every young person, the future employee and leader, with the understanding of their individual strengths.
Neurodiversity-affirming educational environments reduce barriers to academic and social-emotional learning for all students. One-size-fits-all, traditionally-inflexible approaches reinforce these barriers.

By applying flexible, inclusive of all brains approaches to learning, schools and universities support young people’s sense of self-worth as well as their understanding of own strengths and needs. Students who experience inclusive environments leave education with a diversity-affirming view deeply ingrained, which they then carry into their communities and future workplaces creating sustainable change.
